This policy explains how Tecla handles information when you use the typing practice.
Practice data
Your progress, preferences, results and current session are stored in your own browser. Tecla does not require an account and does not send this data to a server. You can export a copy or erase everything in Settings.
Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary local storage to remember your progress, language, theme and privacy choice. Optional features such as advertising may only use storage after your consent where required.
Google Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand general visits and interactions. We do not send content typed in exercises.
Advertising
Tecla may display Google AdSense ads. If enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure and limit ads, according to your privacy choice and applicable law.
Your choices
You can accept or reject personalized advertising and change your choice at any time in Privacy preferences. Rejecting does not block the practice. Clearing site data also removes your privacy choice and local progress.
